Consumer Rights & Regulatory Information

Healing Sparrow Counseling, PLLC is committed to ethical practice, transparency, and client access to information. The following disclosures are provided in accordance with House Bill 4224 and Texas Health & Safety Code §181.105.

  • Clients have the right to request access to their mental health records maintained by Healing Sparrow Counseling, PLLC.

    Requests for records should be submitted in writing. The preferred method of submission is email.

    If a mailed request is necessary, mailing instructions will be provided upon request.

    To ensure accurate processing, written requests should include identifying information sufficient to verify the client’s identity and clearly describe the records being requested. Requests made on behalf of another individual must include documentation establishing legal authority.

  • Healing Sparrow Counseling, PLLC is licensed and regulated by the Texas Behavioral Health Executive Council (BHEC).

    BHEC oversees the licensure and professional conduct of Licensed Clinical Social Workers in Texas.

  • Individuals who wish to submit a consumer complaint regarding professional services may do so through the Texas Office of the Attorney General – Consumer Protection Division.
